GGHH member advertises role for first Sustainability Manager

In exciting news our Global Green and Healthy Hospital member South West Sydney Local Health District, is advertising a position for their first ever Sustainability Manager.

The position of SWSLHD Sustainability Manager is an exciting new role, responsible for Leading and developing a comprehensive sustainability program across the LHD.

The successful applicant will lead sustainability projects across the LHD and be responsible for tracking and benchmarking all environmental programs, coordination of environmental programs between departments and representing the organisations environmental initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders.

The position will work closely with other District resources who are responsible for coordinating the tracking of energy, waste, water and fleet consumption throughout all SWSLHD facilities via a range of measures including monitoring, data collection, report development. The position will be responsible with others for policy development, change management and project initiatives.

Applicants should have an extensive knowledge and experience of sustainable practices and an awareness of emerging local, regional and national sustainable business strategies.
